Northmont DECA had 11 members attend and compete at the International Career Development Conference this past week in Atlanta, Georgia. Students had the opportunity to represent Ohio DECA with some of the best students in the world.
Three students Kara Brown, Brianna Abels, and Ryleigh Hardwick become just the second group in Northmont High School DECA history to bring home the coveted DECA Glass. The girls placed 2nd in the Business Solutions Project.
This is such an amazing accomplishment for these girls. I am so incredibly proud of the work and effort they put into this. Not only that I am so proud of all the students who attended and competed. It is not easy to qualify and these students did it and made it look easy. This is such a great way for our chapter to finish the year. There is no more rewarding experience as an advisor than to see these kids do what they do and have success. The future is bright for this chapter and it was an amazing year for us.
