The Northmont boys volleyball team opened the season with a 2–3 record, facing a challenging early stretch that tested their resilience. The Bolts have improved their record to an overall of 4-6. The Bolts had a tough loss to Middletown Middies boys volleyball (14–25, 19–25, 17–25), where unforced errors proved costly and prevented the Bolts from finding a consistent rhythm. Northmont quickly responded with a dominant straight-set victory over Hamilton Big Blue boys volleyball (25–9, 25–13, 25–18), a match that helped restore confidence and momentum. However, the Bolts ran into a strong Centerville Elks boys volleyball squad, falling in three sets (7–25, 13–25, 17–25). Despite the slow start, Northmont showed growth by competing more effectively as the match progressed. They followed that with a four-set loss to Lebanon Warriors boys volleyball (14–25, 25–20, 17–25, 13–25), but the match highlighted their ability to battle and compete against high-level opponents.

Since that 2–3 start, the Bolts have continued to grow and improve, now sitting at 4–6 on the season. A strong performance against Dunbar Wolverines boys volleyball (25–13, 25–17, 25–7) showcased their development, as Northmont played with confidence and control while also getting valuable contributions from the entire roster. The recent stretch reflects a team that is learning from early mistakes, building chemistry, and gaining momentum as the season progresses.

The Bolts are one win away from tying the most wins since 2021 and two wins away from having the most wins since 2021.
