The varsity tennis team competed hard against a strong GWOC opponent in Beavercreek for today's match, facing a challenging lineup across both singles and doubles play.
Singles Competition
Curtis Braswell battled in his match but fell 0-6, 0-6. Tommy Jenkins also competed in singles, dropping his match 1-6, 1-6. In his first match of the season, Micah Perry showed fight despite the 0-6, 1-6 loss.
Doubles Play
The doubles teams brought solid effort to the court. Alex and Nick Seibert fell 1-6, 4-6 in their match, while Michael Fletcher and Austin Meagley dropped their contest 1-6, 0-6.
Despite the tough results, the team demonstrated competitive spirit and valuable experience against quality opposition. The players will look to build on today's effort as the season continues.
The next match is 4/8 @ Brookville High school at 4:30pm. The next home match is against Centerville on 4/9.
