Randolph Bleachers Update

During the required annual inspections on all bleachers throughout the district, the bleachers at Randolph Field did not pass. We are grateful that we received many years of use. Since the structure is deemed unsafe for use, it is closed to ensure the safety of students, families, and community members who use the field. The bleachers are scheduled to be demolished in late spring. We appreciate the community’s understanding as we work to maintain safe and functional facilities for all who enjoy our athletic spaces.

Randolph Field served as the home field for Randolph High School until 1989 when the home bleachers were moved to the current site at Northmont High School to serve as the visitors bleachers. When Northmont officially became a school in 1959, Randolph Field was still utilized for football, soccer and field hockey.
