On Sunday, February 22nd, the Northmont Gymnastics Team finished 3rd with a team score of 124.20 at the Dayton City Championships held at Miamisburg High School. The girls competed against 15 schools in the Dayton area and had one of their best meets of the year. Senior Lexie Hoops was named All-City for vault and sophomore Evie Barnes was named All-City for vault, bars, floor and all around. To be awarded All-City, a gymnast has to place in the top 10 on any event. This Saturday, the girls will compete at Lakota East High School for the Southwest District Meet. Gymnasts placing in the top 6 on any event and the top 2 schools at the meet will compete the following weekend at State.
