Northmont girls picked up a big win over Miamisburg on the road, Saturday night. The Lady Bolts came out locked in from the opening tip, jumping out to a quick first-quarter lead and setting the tone early. Northmont continued to battle on both ends of the floor, showing great effort and composure offensively while staying tough defensively.
The girls held their lead through all four quarters, playing unselfish, team-oriented basketball. This complete team performance secured Northmont their third straight win, and we are extremely proud of the way the Lady Bolts continue to compete and grow together.
Freshman guard, Ashlen Simpson, led the team with 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists.
Sophomore guard, Sophie Secor, had 13 points, and 7 rebounds.
