Northmont girls traveled to Fairmont on Saturday morning for a tough road matchup. The Lady Bolts came out competing early, keeping the game within reach through the first quarter with strong effort on both ends of the floor. In the second quarter, Northmont struggled to maintain that same level of energy, allowing Fairmont to create separation. The Lady Bolts went into halftime facing a 34–13 deficit.

Coming out of the break, Northmont continued to battle but was unable to keep pace with Fairmont’s consistent scoring and pressure. Despite the challenging circumstances, the Lady Bolts continued to fight throughout the second half.
Freshman guard, Ashlen Simpson led the team offensively, finishing with 12 points. Northmont ultimately fell to a good Fairmont team, 69–22.
