The Northmont DECA Chapter invited Miss Ohio’s Teen, Ali Payton, to speak to our members today about professional speaking and interview skills. During her time in the class, Ali talked to the students about using her three C’s of success to achieve any goal they set for themselves. Her three c’s include being confident, building connections, and being comfortable. Ali provided our members with a wealth of information about her background and her being named Miss Ohio’s Teen.

It is always great to have someone in the classroom that students can relate to, and they can learn so many amazing, valuable skills. Ali was a great speaker for our members today, and I know that they all took valuable lessons from her speech. We want to wish her the best of luck for the remainder of her senior year and at her state BPA conference in February - Eric Wagner, Advisor
