The Boys Basketball team headed to Centerville High School Tuesday night for a weekday GWOC matchup. It was the 2nd matchup of the year as Centerville won the first game 40-39 at the Thunderdome.

After a slow start, the Bolts fought back to trail 13-12 at the 1st quarter break. Some defensive lapses allowed the Elks to go back and forth and Centerville took a 25-22 lead into the half.

The 2nd half saw the Bolts again battle back and forth and take the lead, but Centerville would get hot at the end of the quarter after a Spencer Maxwell 3PT shot to extend the lead 39-33 in favor of the Elks.

In the 4th quarter, Centerville got the lead as high as 9 points, but Northmont didn't go away. The Bolts got the deficit down to 4 points, but couldn't get closer than that. Centerville would pick up the victory 57-51. The loss bumped the Bolts to 8-5 on the year and 5-3 in GWOC play. Josiah Williams led scoring with 13 points. Kaleb Kelly provided 11 points.

JV lost 59-47 in their game with the Elks. Caleb Thompson led scoring with 12 points.

Freshman fell 63-31 in their game. Loyal Williamson led scoring with 13 points.

All 3 teams are in action this Friday at Beavercreek.
