On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, the Northmont DECA chapter traveled to the DECA District 4. The Northmont DECA had 74 students compete and had 55 students place in the top, with 42 of those individuals earning an opportunity to advance to the Ohio DECA Career Development Conference in February.

It was a great day for our DECA members and chapter. The kids really put a lot of hard work into getting ready for the competition, and it is great to see that hard work pay off. I thought at the beginning of the year that this could be a special year for our chapter, and they continue to excel. I am extremely proud of all the kids who competed. It is not easy to get in front of a judge, but these kids make it look easy. I am excited to see what happens at the next level in February. Eric Wagner - Advisor
