Northmont High School Athletics is excited to invite young students to participate in the Youth Cheer Mini Clinic, hosted by the Northmont High School Cheerleaders. This fun-filled event gives children the opportunity to learn cheer fundamentals, connect with current cheerleaders, and experience the excitement of game-day performance.
The clinic is open to students in grades K–6 and will take place on Saturday, January 31, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Northmont High School.
What to Expect
During the morning clinic, Northmont High School Cheerleaders will teach participants a cheer and a short dance. The focus will be on learning, teamwork, confidence, and having fun in a supportive environment.
Doors will open at 9:45 a.m. for drop-off at Door 11 (Athletic Entrance). Parents are invited to return at 11:45 a.m. to watch a short showcase highlighting what the participants learned.
Game-Day Performance Opportunity
Clinic participants will return later that evening to perform at a Northmont basketball game:
Grades K–3 will perform at JV halftime
Grades 4–6 will perform at Varsity halftime
This is a special chance for young cheerleaders to perform on the court and experience the excitement of cheering in front of a crowd.
