The Lady Bolts faced a challenging matchup against Beavercreek Wednesday night, losing 51-33.
Northmont opened the night with intensity, executing well on both ends of the floor and building an early 8 point lead first quarter.
Going into second quarter, Beavercreek found their rhythm while the Bolts fought to maintain pace and consistency.
The Bolts went into halftime facing an 8 point deficit.
The Lady Bolts looked to reset coming out of the locker room, but the third quarter proved difficult. Despite flashes of strong play and continued effort throughout the second half, Northmont was unable to overcome the gap created earlier in the game.
While the final result wasn't in our favor, the strong first quarter and moments of competitiveness throughout highlight the team's potential as we continue to build and grow.
Senior, Jenna Hall, led with 11 points and 9 steals.
JV also faced a loss to Beavercreek, 43-29. Maddie Zbikowski led with 11 points.
