The Northmont High School Swim Team made a powerful statement in their season opener on Friday, competing against Fairmont, Beavercreek, Centerville, Brookville, and Dayton Christian. With strong swims across the board, the Thunderbolts set the tone for an exciting season ahead.
The Northmont boys team earned an impressive 2nd place overall with 62 points, topping Fairmont, Dayton Christian, Centerville, and Brookville. The Northmont girls team also had a standout meet, finishing 3rd with 42 points, defeating Centerville, Dayton Christian, and Brookville.
Northmont brought home several first-place finishes, highlighting both returning strength and emerging talent:

Knox Reed – 50 Freestyle – 23.91
Abbie Weeks – 100 Butterfly – 1:03.14
Javier Pfeiler – 100 Butterfly – 55.81
Javier Pfeiler – 100 Freestyle – 50.23
Knox Reed – 100 Backstroke – 1:00.89
We could not be more impressed with the team’s focus, determination, and energy. For a season opener, these swims show incredible promise, and we are so proud of every athlete who stepped up and competed.
