The Boys’ Wrestling Program is led by Head Coach Brad Statzer. Coach Statzer is in his 6th year with the wrestling program, he has also been teaching at Northmont since 2010. Last season was a solid one for boys wrestling, placing in the top 2 at Edgewood and Hammer and Anvil meets. They finished 4th in the league (GWOC), 5th out of 18 in Sectionals, and 16th out of 49 at Districts.

Coach Statzer is very excited for the team this season. His goal is for them to get 1% better every day and keep building throughout the season. He is also continuing to focus on their resilience, responsibility, and accountability both on the mat and in the classroom.

Key returners include Seniors Connor Slentz (GWOC Champion), Landon McCargish (State Qualifier), and Sophomore Graham Moyer (State Alternate).
