The Girls’ Varsity Basketball program has a new look for the 2025-2026 season. The Thunderbolts have brought Michael Paige on board as the new head coach following a 4-20 season in 2024-2025, which saw the Bolts towards the bottom in the GWOC standings.

Michael Paige has spent over 20 years coaching basketball. Most recently at Mississinawa Valley as the Varsity Girl’s head coach, where he achieved a great deal of success. His teams over the past 3 years have won 20 or more games in each of those seasons. They also won multiple titles during that time. They were the Sectional and District Champions in both 2023 and 2024. As well as Conference Champions in 2024.

Michael Paige is joined by Emily Walker (Head Coach of JV) and Jason Slaughter (Head Coach of the Freshman team). They are focused on creating a culture that is conducive to the long-term success of this program. They are also looking forward to getting the best out of their players and taking a step in the right direction this season as a team.

Key returners for the Thunderbolts this season include Seniors Jenna Hall and Ari Eloi. The first home game for the Thunderbolts will take place on December 3rd vs Wayne High School.
