On Monday, October 13th, the Lady Bolts traveled to Monroe to take on the Hornets from the SWBL. The Bolts welcomed back Calista Kuntz to the starting lineup, and she wasted no time making an impact.
Northmont came out strong in the opening set, setting the tone early with dominant play on both sides of the ball, cruising to a 25–14 win. In the second set, Monroe found their rhythm and challenged the Bolts with solid defense and strong serving, but Northmont maintained control down the stretch to take the set 25–19.
The third set was all Northmont. The Bolts executed flawlessly, overwhelming Monroe’s defense with relentless hitting and strong serving to seal the sweep with a decisive 25–10 victory.
Jadyn Johnson led the charge with 14 kills, 2 digs, and 3 blocks. Kuntz added 8 kills, 4 digs, and 2 blocks in her return, while Jenna Hall contributed 7 kills and 12 digs. Setter Brianna Abels orchestrated the offense with 31 assists.
With the win, Northmont finishes the regular season 13–9 overall and 8–6 in conference play. This marks the third consecutive season the Lady Bolts have earned double-digit victories and their second straight year with a winning record in GWOC competition. Northmont also secured a fourth-place finish in the GWOC for the third consecutive season.
