This week at the OHSAA District Tournament Megan Fosburg failed to qualify for the State Tournament, closing the chapter on her high school golf career. Despite the setback, Megan was a two time district qualifier and four time all conference team selection and will leave as one of Northmont's most decorated female golfers.
Aside from her on the course success Megan showed tremendous growth as a team leader and as a friend this season and that is so much more valuable than any athletic accolades .
As a team Northmont will graduate five senior golfers including veterans Sydney Schmaltz and Maddy Veach.
We will look to Elizabeth Calhoun, Lila Wolf and Lily Clark to take on new leadership roles, and to help continuing to grow the program.
