On Tuesday, September 30th the Lady Bolts played Springboro in their Suicide Prevention Awareness Game. The Bolts returned their starting right side from injury which allowed the Bolts to get back into a normal rhythm and it showed in the first set. In the first set the Bolts put a lot of serving pressure on Springboro which allowed the Bolts to set up their defense and score quickly once they got the ball back. The Lady Bolts took the first set 25-20. In set two, the Lady Bolts battled back and forth with the Panthers and fought back and forth until point 20 which then, Springboro took advantage of the small errors that Northmont made which allowed them to win set two, 22-25. In set three the Lady Bolts could not find momentum and could not get their offense going which allowed Springboro to win 12-25. In set four, the Bolts battled and started to find their momentum again but due to small errors and Springboro placing smart shots it allowed them to continue to take the lead and win the set 20-25.
The Bolts were led by Jenna Hall with 12 kills. Jadyn Johnson contributed 10 kills and 3 blocks. Ryleigh Hardwick had a standout night with 11 kills, and 6 digs. Halie Hill had 27 digs and Brianna Abels had 38 assists.
