On September 16th, the Lady Bolts beat Wayne in four sets to get a revenge win.

Last season, the Bolts split with Wayne, sweeping them at home and eventually losing to them in four sets at their home gym which would've allowed the Bolts to have a second place finish in the GWOC. Coming into this game the Bolts knew how crucial it was to walk away with a win at Wayne.

In the first set the Bolts started strong with 4 back to back aces that allowed the Bolts to get an early, 4-0 lead. This lead allowed the Bolts to continue to put pressure on the Warriors and they won the first set 25-18. In the second set, the Bolts continued their hard work and applied even more pressure on the service line that allowed the Bolts to win, 25-16 which was the first time that the Bolts beat Wayne with such a set score since 2021. In set three, the Bolts lost momentum and Wayne started to get their big hitters going which allowed the Warriors to win set three, 17-25. The Bolts needed to put all their effort into set four to not allow Wayne to force a fifth set. The Bolts found the momentum and reapplied the service pressure from the end line and that was the sole difference that allowed them to escape with a fourth set win, 25-19.

The Bolts were led by Jadyn Johnson with 13 kills, 2 aces, and 6 blocks. Jenna Hall contributed 11 kills, 3 aces, and 12 digs. Keziah Daniel had contributed 5 kills. Brianna Abels dished out 34 assists along with 17 digs. Halie Hill had 24 digs and Meghan Roper had 17 digs.
