On Monday, September 8th the Lady Bolts dropped a four set match against Butler.

After a great match against Versailles, the Lady Bolts came in ready to take on the undefeated Butler Aviators. The first set was a continuous back and forth battle but too many Lady Bolt errors allowed Butler to sneak by with a first set win, 25-27.

The Bolts started set two with another back and forth battle but Butler continued the service pressure from the end line and the Bolts couldn't find their groove and lost set two, 22-25.

Set three was a different story for the Bolts. Coach Bridenbaugh made some changes that allowed Northmont to get back into their groove. The Bolts continued to apply pressure at the net and Butler couldn't stop them as the Bolts rolled to a 25-20 win.

Set four, the Bolts could not stop the service pressure from the Aviators. This allowed Butler to go on big runs and the Bolts couldn't respond losing the match 13-25.

The Bolts were led by Jenna Hall with 15 kills, and 13 digs. Jadyn Johnson had 12 kills, and 2 blocks. Brianna Abels had 39 assists and 16 digs. Meghan Roper led the defense with 19 digs.
