On Thursday, September 4th, the Lady Bolts lost a road match against Springboro.
In set one, the Bolts were figuring out the tempo of the Panthers and competing back and forth. Springboro kept the serving pressure on the Bolts which allowed for them to take set one, 19-25. In the second set of the match the Bolts took a commanding lead and all hitters were finding ways to score to keep them ahead of the Panthers most of the set. The Bolts held a lead of 20-15 but that is when Springboro would then go back to the service line and rattle of a couple points with some service aces. The Bolts could not recover from the pressure of Springboro and could not stop their runs and lost set two, 20-25. In the third set the Bolts could not recover and respond to the pressure of Springboro's serves and lost set three, 12-25.
The Bolts fell to 4-3 overall, and 1-3 in conference.
