The Northmont girls tennis team earned a 5-0 victory over West Carrollton on Thursday night.

At first singles, Leah Bergjord collected her second win of the season, taking the opening set 6-4 before her opponent retired while trailing 3-4 in the second. Madison Evans cruised at second singles with a decisive 6-0, 6-0 victory, and Samantha Cecil matched the result at third singles, also winning 6-0, 6-0.

In doubles play, Northmont continued its strong performance. Bayla Bucciarelli and Sol Malanda controlled their match for a straight-sets win at first doubles, while Eden Scott and Alysha Hopson sealed the sweep with a straight-sets victory at second doubles.

Northmont girls tennis takes on Sidney HS at home on Monday, September 8th at 4:30 pm.
