Northmont T-bolts XC team showed up this past Saturday night at the Centerville Night Light! Our varsity women placed 2nd as a team in the Varsity Gold Race with both Makenna Long and Sadie Mergler both running sub 20 minutes. Jazlen Simpson wasn't that far behind, running a 20:16. The varsity men ran the Championship race and placed 11th as a team. The team was led by Dominic Lopez with his strong 2nd place finish and Owen Bush running a huge personal best with a time of 16:23.

This Saturday brings the Greenville City Treaty Invitational. The races begin with a cannon blast (literally). The course is very spectator friendly and the athletes enjoy running on suspension bridges, around ponds, and past a cage of peacocks.
